Billease, the Philippines’ leading consumer finance and buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) platform, today launched Billease Deals on the web at deals.billease.ph. Deals was previously available only inside the Billease app. It now runs on any mobile browser, giving brands and distributors a free channel to put their products in front of Billease customers who already hold pre-approved credit.
On Deals, the brand or distributor is the seller. It sets the price, lists the product, and handles fulfillment and delivery. Billease hosts the listing, brings the shopper, and provides the installment financing at checkout. The channel works like a hosted storefront marketing tool for brands i.e. the brand sells, Billease finances.
Zero Fees for Brands and Distributors
Listing on Billease Deals costs nothing. There are no platform fees, no commissions, no listing charges, and no payment-processing markups. Today, brands selling online only have two options, and both cost them. Marketplace commissions eat close to 20 percent once fees and advertising are in the mix. A standalone web store charges per transaction and brings you zero traffic. Deals charges neither. Brands and distributors keep full control of pricing, inventory, logistics, and last-mile delivery. In return they reach shoppers who are already credit-qualified at the moment they see the product.
“Marketplaces did a lot for Philippine retail. They gave brands reach that would have taken years to build alone. But that reach has a price. By the time you add commissions, payment fees, and the ads you need to stay visible, a marketplace sale can cost close to 20 percent,” said Kurt Molina, Head of POS Product at Billease. “We built Deals to sit beside those channels. A brand adds Billease Deals as one more place its products are seen, at zero cost. We take nothing from the sale. We earn when the customer chooses to pay in installments, so our interest is the same as the brand’s: put the product in front of someone who can afford it today. Every peso the brand saves in fees can go into a discount price or a 0% promo, and that is what actually moves items”
A Direct Line to Millions of Pre-Approved Shoppers
For brands and distributors, Deals is a way to move volume without building their own financing program. They can run 0% installment promotions directly to Billease’s customer base of millions of pre-approved users. Billease carries the financing. The brand sets the promo and ships the order.
Every shopper on Deals sees their available credit limit while browsing, so a 0% offer lands at the point of discovery, before checkout. For a brand, installment financing becomes a promotional lever it controls.
“In the Philippines, the number a shopper actually decides on is the monthly payment. That is how households usually budget, whether it is a phone or a refrigerator,” Kurt added. “Most online stores show the full price first and the installment last, buried at checkout, after the shopper has already decided themselves out of it. Deals flips that order. The shopper lands on the product page already knowing their credit limit, so when a brand runs a 0% promo, the person seeing it knows on the spot that they can afford it. We call it credit-first commerce. We think it is how Filipinos will shop online, and we want brands, distributors, and ecommerce enablers to build for it with us.”
Why It Matters For Customers?
Deals carries electronics, laptops, home appliances, personal care, and health services from accredited merchants, and will expand into more categories as more brands start selling on the platform. Brands sell at lower cost through Deals, so customers can expect better pricing and exclusive discounts. Purchases can be paid in installments with 0% down payment on eligible items and exclusive 0% interest offers from participating brands. On offers that carry interest, interest is computed on the declining principal balance, so a customer who pays early pays less. Select devices come with a complimentary one-year protection plan against accidental and liquid damage from insurtech partner Protech Devices. The platform carries the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Trustmark for safety, transparency, and data privacy. Every order is fulfilled and delivered by the brand or distributor that listed it.
Simple Onboarding, No Integration Work
Existing merchant partners need no new integration. The product catalog feeds both the app and the web through Billease’s existing API (https://docs.billease.ph/integration/deals/intro/) and manual upload. Brands, distributors, and retailers can register at billease.ph/partners/register or write to merchant@billease.ph.
