What is QRPh?

QRPh is the Philippines’ QR code standard based on the Europay-Mastercard-VISA (EMV) standard, a global standard for secure payments. It gives customers of participating banks and non-bank electronic money issuers (EMI) a quick and safe method to pay, transfer to, and receive funds from other bank and e-money accounts in the Philippines. QR Ph is approved by the Philippine Payments Management, Inc. (PPMI) in accordance with Circular 1055 of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

1. Look for merchants displaying the QR Ph code.
2. At checkout, open the Billease app and look for the scan icon located in the upper right corner of the app.
3. Input the total order amount.

      To use Scan Now, Pay Later with BillEase, simply download the BillEase app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and sign up using one valid government-issued ID.

      If you already have an approved BillEase account, you can start using the Scan & Pay Later feature by following these steps:

      1. Visit a store that displays the QR Ph code.

      2. At checkout, open the BillEase app and tap the scan icon located at the upper right corner.

      3. Enter the total amount of your purchase.

      4. Choose your preferred installment plan and confirm your payment.

      5. Don’t forget to activate your BillEase Limit Boost™, if eligible, to increase your spending limit.

      This feature makes shopping easier and more flexible—letting you scan, pay, and split your payments over time.

      If you’re looking to increase your credit limit for a purchase, just tap the “Limit Boost” banner in your BillEase app. From there, provide the shop name, item details, and purchase amount, then hit Submit. If you qualify, you’ll get an instant limit boost and a payment plan right in the app.

      Don’t worry—you can still adjust the price, terms, and payment schedule before finalizing. And if you change your mind, you can cancel and request again anytime at no extra cost. 😊

    A grocery store declined my QR code payment due to issues relating to late payment remittances from similar apps to their store. How can this issue be resolve so I could use this on any daily purchase anytime.
